*This was the perfect B&B. Rooms are beautifully appointed. Welcomed with wine and fruit, with amazing danish and coffee for the next morning. We stayed in the Romance cottage, which it was, with a fireplace and a large double shower. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the courtyard. Just lovely. This would be an amazing place for a baby or bridal shower, wedding, small family reunion, tea, etc. Kemah is lucky to have this jewel.
* This was a perfect little getaway for our Valentine’s weekend with the major drop in temps and things shut down. Matthew and Jen offer a beautiful little gem with such hospitable owners. Went above and beyond meeting us when we got there, offering local info as well when we got there. It was warm and inviting, the champagne and basket was a wonderful personal touch. Recommend to all would absolutely stay again.
* I loved Clipper House Inn! Such a peaceful and adorable place. The décor, inside and out was so enjoyable. And the staff was beyond accommodating. The attention to details was impressive. We were at the Romance. I'm looking forward to seeing the other rooms. I really enjoyed the creativity of the courtyard area but the "armoire kitchen" had to be my favorite piece. I highly recommend Clipper House Inn.
* Clean cottage, great porch to sit and talk and listen to the fountain. Walking distance to the Board walk, restaurants and park. It was not noisy at all, very peaceful. You can go to the board walk or the restaurants and watch sail boats come and go.
* My wife and I stayed two days for our 23rd anniversary. What was most important to us was the chance to relax and enjoy our time with no distractions. We were absolutely delighted from the moment we arrived. Our cottage was great. Much more personal than a hotel room. We enjoyed strolling through the gardens and a quick walk to the Boardwalk for dinner. We didn't want to leave and we definitely will be back for years to come.
* In a word....'MAGICAL'...From the time we checked in, the wine tasting and cheese, INCREDIBLE shower for two, to the time we checked out was 'MAGICAL'....sitting outside looking up at the moon and stars, chatting with other guests added to the magic.
* In the mornings we would meet in the middle courtyard and have coffee and chat in the pretty scenery around us.
* The Clipper House Inn was perfect for our wedding. It’s seriously a magical place.
* This was my third visit to the Clipper House Inn. The courtyard just draws you into a quiet, peaceful and relaxing place. I tell others that haven't been there that it is hard to explain how unique and quaint it really is. From the cottage we stayed in to the wonderful fresh fruit and breads to the sound of the fountain in the courtyard. This trip was to make memories with a dear friend and I feel like it was "memories accomplished”.
* We want to go back for our anniversaries to come. This was truly a fairy tale wedding and it was all soooo perfect!
